Our family recently hosted an event for 70 guests at Carondelet Center. Arrangements were flawless. Sunshine flooded through the large windows on a crisp early April day. Flexible seating for vaarious size groups is available, but our set up of well -spaced round tables of six was perfect for conversation with plenty of walk around room. Our guests were enthusiastic about the box lunches catered by Good Grounds via the Carondelet Center staff.The chocolate-dipped macaroons were a big dessert hit! Everything environmentally friendly from compostable tableware to the beverage containers Free parking immediately adjucant to the accessible entrance. The location on the southwest corner of Randoph and Fairviews is convenient to Interstates 94 and 494 with easy city street travel in all directions. I enthusiastically recommend this venue for large or small gatherings. Jennifer LaValle, Event Center Coordinator, was so easy to work with. Her suggestions re the menu were excellent. She answers her own phone and responds rapidly to e-mail and text. Personable, cheerful and very professinal customer service. We'll be back! Gretchen Wronka

We used the Carondelet Center for my Mom's funeral. The chapel was beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. The whole affair was made so much easier and nicer in working with these people. Highly recommended.

I've stayed at the Carondelet Center on two separate occasions and attended several events on site. Their staff is incredibly patient, kind, friendly, and hospitable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue to others! It's very affordable and the rooms are comfortable.

Dormitory style accommodations. Clean facility and old world feel. Staff are very nice and welcoming. This is a great low-cost alternative to hotels. Check out the women's spiritual library while you are there!

a modest, cozy, accessible small retreat center on the third floor of an old college style office building. Simple rooms with single beds, cramped bathrooms, but overall a great place for the price.

Our group stayed at Carondelet Center and used the space for our Mid Year retreat. We appreciated the actual physical space, as it was perfect for our reflection time- serene, clean, well decorated and its 3rd floor views of the trees and sky. Jeni and Joan were great to work with beforehand and throughout the process, with clear, timely and accurate communication and flexible timing. We really had such a lovely time that we'll be sure to plan more gatherings there. So grateful!

I wish I could give five more stars. I recently spent six days as a residential guest while attending a retreat at Carondelet. Every single person I interacted with there was kind, attentive and made me feel like a VIP. The guest room was very comfortable and just across the hall was a large, fully equipped kitchen with a dining/sitting room next door. Any request I had (coffee filters, for example) was immediately and cheerfully fulfilled. The building itself is elegant and calming. Our entire group feels the same way and we look forward to returning for future retreats. The Zoom TV technology that we were able to rent from the Center completely revolutionized our retreat and those who participated remotely are still raving about it. I will return to Carondelet in a heartbeat when I'm in St. Paul again.
